Welcome to the first edition of Over The Top, VADition’s timely round-up of the most interesting news and developments for our partners. Here you will find everything from forthcoming events, the latest announcements, to offers and incentives from Drive - our new reward scheme for resellers.
In our SocialITe section, read about ‘hot industry topics’ affecting the shifting behaviours of web 2.0 or as we like to call it.... the social enterprise. This topic was the ‘buzz’ at this year’s Infosec, at which VADition generated 300 leads across all partners showcased at the stand - a fantastic effort from all those involved.
Infosec was the culmination of another year of significant growth during which we cemented our position as a successful market leader in the recession-battered channel. We believe we are in very good shape to respond to our partners’ needs for the latest innovative technology as we now look ahead to the next 12 months.
With this in mind, we’ve added FireEye which provides malware detection within the network, to our growing vendor portfolio. You can read about FireEye in our Vendor Spotlight section. Finally, there’s some light relief in the form of our esteemed (cartoon) colleagues Tom and Ted on the perennial issue of storage, plus the latest from business development and marketing director Barrie Desmond, in Barrie’s Blog.
