The course is highly interactive and features real-world scenarios and abundant laboratory exercises. This course is primarily hands on. Please bring the following in order to fully participate:
- A wireless enabled laptop with updated wireless drivers. NOTE: If you are running Windows XP SP2, please make sure you have the following Microsoft patch installed: KB893357
- A DB9 Serial connector for console access to our HiveAP devices. If your laptop does not have a serial connector, you can find USB to DB9 adaptors from your local electronics store
- A functioning Ethernet port on your laptop
